2023 \ Digital Interactive Installation

Maestro \ Museum of Sydney

Working closely with the creative team at Art Processors I designed and developed the front-end for Maestro - an immersive ‘livetronica’ experience for The People’s House: Sydney Opera House at 50 exhibition at the Museum of Sydney. The project was a creative deep dive into the soul of the Sydney Opera House, where I was tasked with turning the building’s iconic geometry into a playable, interactive instrument.

The procedural art systems that drive the experience, were inspired by the original architectural sketches and design concepts of the Sydney Opera House. An array of motion sensors ensured the digital environment would respond intuitively to the audience's body movements - allowing visitors to 'conduct' the vibrant audio-visual compositions in real time.
