Emergent Series \ Digital Screen Artworks

The Emergent Series is an experimental digital painting that explores the intersection of memory, machine vision, and our future environments. Curated by Art Pharmacy and exhibited at 80 Collins Street, the work uses a specific Fitzroy laneway as a site-study for deconstructing physical reality into digital form.

I developed this series using photogrammetry and procedural particle systems. My goal was to move beyond simple 3D scanning - instead, I used these technologies to create a 'living' texture that feels as though it is constantly forming and dissolving. By leaning into the aesthetic of machine vision, the series asks the viewer to consider how artificial intelligence is beginning to mediate our perception of the world around us.
